Countries around the world are experimenting in different ways with IoT. In this series, China has got its first smart home service based on Internet of Things concept. According to reports, Zeewave and China Unicom have launched country’s first smart home automation service. It is to be delivered to all the subscribers of China Unicom via the Smart Home Gateway of Zeewave.
The official announcement of this association was made during a press conference on October 16, 2015, at the 12th China International Small and Medium Enterprise Fair. The event is expected to be attended by Mr. Zou Shan, Head of Guangdong Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission, Mr. Yang of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Mr. Li Ying, Secretary General of Guangdong IoT Industry Alliance, and many others.
While talking to reporters, Dr. Yang Xiang, CEO of Zeewave, said that it’s great to associate with China Unicom to accomplish this project successfully. Company’s world-famous Z-Wave IoT technology comprises over 90% market share in the security service industry of USA.
Both the companies are confident about the success of this project in Chinese market.
