Eurotech, a leading IoT and M2M solution provider and Red Hat Inc., better known for providing open source solutions, have decided to come together to enhance implementations of various IoT projects and simplify internet of things integration. They have combined their expertise and offerings to build an end-to-end architecture for the internet of things, which can easily bridge the gap between information and operational technology.
Although IoT and M2M fields are growing at a swift pace in today’s time, problems like performance latency, scalability, security and reliability continue to haunt clients. Both Red Hat and Eurotech look forward to coming up with permanent solutions to this issues with the help of each other’s resources.
The foundation of this new combined architecture is being created by leading Linux platform, Eurotech IoT and M2M software and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. As part of this collaboration, Red Hat JBoss Middleware and Red Hat Enterprise Linux are to be combined along with Eurotech Everyware Cloud and Eurotech Everyware Software Framework to ensure manageability, computing security and application support for IoT solutions.
The number of IoT devices across the globe is likely to cross 20 billion in next few years, and both of these firms don’t want to leave any stone unturned to cash in on this opportunity. They believe that this combined solution will help businesses enhance IoT and M2M deployments and simplify integration without any hassle.
