Amid growing demand for the internet of things in the market, HCL Technologies has decided to open a new IoT incubation center in Redmond where it can leverage the usage of Microsoft Azure IoT Suite to enhance the adoption of enterprise internet of things.
The incubation will work on building a host of vertical solutions with a prime focus on two major areas: Life Sciences & Healthcare, and Industrial & Manufacturing sectors. Use cases at the incubation center will involve subjects like Remote Patient Monitoring, Industrial Automation, and Fleet Management. HCL will look forward to deploying innovative solutions using sensory data, real-time analytics, and active co-creation, which will help the customers to understand the impact that IoT can have on their lives in real time.
While Microsoft is expected to use its leadership in IoT field, whereas HCL is supposed to use its expertise in Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering, Infrastructure Services and Systems Integration to make this new incubation center a huge hit.
According to HCL Technologies’ EVP Sukamal Banerjee, it’s crucial for technological inventions to be executed properly in today’s time. Its collaboration with Microsoft will pave the way for such errorless execution of IoT technology in the future.
