Genetec Inc., better known for its unified, open-platform IP security solution manufacturing services, and Sensity Systems, a leading IoT smart city service provider, announced that they would start offering advanced internet of things public safety and security solution. A fair demonstration of this solution will be provided by both the companies between April 26-28 at the San Diego Convention Center at LIGHTFAIR International (LFI).
Reports claim that the IoT smart city solution enables the integration of Sensity Video Nodes with LED lights, allowing them to carry out the communication with Genetec Security Center VMS (video management system). The intelligent analytics on the Sensity Video Node allows the companies to monitor the entire process in an efficient manner. Besides, the Sensity Video Node can record low-resolution and high-resolution streams with the help of its two cameras.
The IoT security solution keeps the data saved on the device rather than the network edge, which speeds up the entire retrieval process and safeguards the privacy of users. Both Genetec and Sensity claim that this advanced IoT public safety and security solution is good enough to live up to everyone’s expectations by enhancing the overall security standards thereby making IoT smart city solution more safe and risk free.
