Bangalore, the IT Capital of India, has taken one more steps towards becoming a leading city in Asia as far as IoT development is considered. Indus Entrepreneurs along with India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) and TSSC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for opening a Center of Excellence in Bangalore.
This newly proposed Center of Excellence will work as a platform to provide requisite skills for the overall development of blue-collar workers in the field of the internet of things.
Naganand Doraswamy, President, TiE Bangalore, said that IESA and TiE are proud to announce the much-awaited 2nd edition of IoTNext. The Indian government has been trying hard to put India on the forefront of the current digital revolution with the help of initiatives like ‘Smart City,’ ‘Digital India,’ and ‘Make In India.’ The proposed IoT Center for Excellence will work as a further stimulant for the growth of country’s internet of things ecosystem.
In today’s time when the competition has touched all new levels, many blue collar workers lose out on many opportunities due to lack of required skills in the field of IoT. This Center of Excellence will work towards providing them the necessary skills to survive in this field.
