The Internet of Things or IoT as an ecosystem is expected to have over 50 billion devices registered in next few years. However, it’s threatened by islands of disparate technology, fragmentation and products that don’t jell together. As part of this certification program, an independent certification authority is set up, which reviews lab test reports to ensure quality in testing and then gives the final decision.
As a result of this certification program, best devices regardless of their manufacturers, can be identified and used to have a premium experience. If everything goes well, the complete testing procedure can be completed within a matter of one week.
The senior management of AllSeen Alliance hopes to get a good response from different manufacturers in the market.
